Make Play a Priority This Summer
Summer camps, sports practices, music lessons and maybe a road trip or two. Is your family’s summer schedule getting crowded? It’s a good time to remember to carve out time for good old-fashioned play – getting dirty, goofing off and making up your own rules.

Visitors will explore the six types of simple machines, discover how they function and build their own machines using a variety of materials and tools in this new experience.

Minnesota Children’s Museum will open Rube GoldbergTM: The Hilarious World of Innovation Exhibit! on Saturday, May 25. This hands-on exhibit celebrates the Pulitzer Prize winning humorist and inventor, and introduces visitors to the creative processes behind his iconic contraptions.
