Get ready for an out of this world experience! Imaginopolis is turning into a cosmic junkyard, giving visitors a chance to play, build and create their own stories using materials that look like cosmic debris while surrounded by the sights and sounds of space.
The exhibit provides a great blend of fun and learning, featuring interactive STEM experiences for kids ages 3 to 9. Visitors make investigations and observations, and apply what they learn to complete missions and challenges centered around the lives of animals and their creature powers.
For about a year now, two-year old Nchare and his parents – Dr. Nathan and Jenny Chomilo – have been members of Minnesota Children’s Museum. We were excited to hear from this family of medical professionals about their experience as museum members and what play means to them. We recently asked them some questions and we love their answers.
