A look into what families are saying about the Minnesota Children’s Museum

We know that during this time, parents are facing a variety of stresses on top of weighing questions concerning safety risks, while still trying to give children a sense of normalcy in their lives. The power of play is here to help. By providing learning opportunities, play can ease stress, anxiety, and help kids learn, grow, and expand their minds.

The Minnesota Children’s Museum has reopened for a month now with new safety measures to keep families safe. It understands that many families are not yet ready to return and will be here when it feels comfortable. For those who have visited and seen these new precautions firsthand, the experiences being shared are positive and reassuring.

We went to the Children’s Museum in early August. This was one of our first ventures as a family since Covid started. We were apprehensive to go to a place where there is so much traffic. However, the Museum did a wonderful job with enforcing their protocols and keeping the place clean.

All of the staff was friendly and busy keeping the museum clean. Sanitizer and hand washing stations are at each exhibit. They require masks and reservations. I highly recommend this safe and clean environment for you and your family to enjoy.

Came back today for the first time since COVID hit. Really nice job. Very clean, well spread out, lots of workers sanitizing. Highly recommend to anyone!

I was incredibly impressed at how hard the staff was working to clean and sanitize. Plenty of sanitize stations at every exhibit. Social distancing stickers to make it easy. Thank you.

This is just a sampling of the positive reviews that commend the social distance and cleaning measures in place throughout all of the play spaces. Even if different, the museum is still the same place built for big fun, and we look forward to welcoming you back when it feels right for your family to return.

Advance tickets are available now.
