Water Play

Kids love to play with water — and it has benefits too! Kids experiment, explore and discover during water play (what floats or sinks, how does water flow through a funnel, etc.).

What You’ll Need:

  • Water
  • Shallow containers
  • Small toys (cars, figurines, etc.)
  • Safe kitchen items (turkey baster, funnel, measuring cups, etc.)

What You’ll Do:

Step 1. Fill a shallow container (or multiple containers) with water
Step 2. Dump toys in so kids can fish them out
Step 3. Provide kitchen utensils so they scoop, pour and more

Added Fun! Give them a paint brush or roller and let them “paint” (using water, not paint) the sidewalk, driveway or fence.

Pro Tip! Plan for them to get wet!
