When will my membership begin?
Now! You are able to take advantage of all your benefits upon purchase.
How long does a membership last?
New memberships, including gift memberships, are valid 12 months.
Renewing members may extend their memberships by 12 months at any time.
When will I get a membership card?
Can I purchase a membership for someone else as a gift?

What is a flex member?
Flex members are additional unnamed members who get free admission to the same locations your membership covers.
- A flex member can be someone you bring with you
- It can also be a caregiver you send your children with to explore the museum
- A named person on the membership, adult or child, must attend with a flex member
Can I bring a guest?
Members may bring up to 6 guests each visit and receive $2 off their admission at any location.

Birthday Parties

All Play Scholarship
Families with limited incomes may qualify for a scholarship membership, thanks to the generous support of many museum donors.
Foster Care Memberships
Minnesota Children’s Museum supports foster care families by providing a $30 discount on Passport or above memberships with proof of foster care status. A copy of your state–issued foster care license is required.
Corporate Discount Participants
Employees of current corporate contributors to the museum’s annual fund receive $10 off price of their membership.
*Unlimited admission does not apply to group visits, special events, or as birthday party guests. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Photo identification is required at check-in.
