Support and Solidarity for All Families
All of us at Minnesota Children’s Museum acknowledge the sadness, anger and fear so many of us are experiencing right now. Even as the painful events around us unfold, we are committed to keeping the museum open to all families. Please know that if your family wants to visit, and feels safe doing so, we’ll be here to welcome you.
Science and our hearts tell us that when families experience pain and trauma, play helps and heals. While what we offer cannot change what has happened or mend what feels broken in our society, we believe that in dark times, our space can offer moments of respite, reflection and connection.
We are deeply grateful to the Minnesota Children’s Museum staff and volunteers whose care and dedication make it possible to keep our doors open during this difficult time, and we ask all visitors to show grace, patience and understanding toward our staff and one another. Minnesota Children’s Museum stands in solidarity with our community, and we hope to provide a place to come together, look out for one another, and find solace and strength in being together.
