Reduced admission for groups serving low-income families

The Play for All Group Scholarship Program is designed to reach schools and nonprofit organizations that serve economically disadvantaged children and families. Qualifying organizations must show proof that at least 50% of the children and families they serve are economically disadvantaged and/or receive free or reduced lunches as part of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).

Program Details

  • Discounted admission rate of $4.50 per child/adult
  • ALL chaperones are FREE, recommended 1:4 adult to child ratio
  • Group size: Minimum of 20 children
  • Reservations required 
  • Program enrollment for 12 months
  • Valid at St. Paul location only

To enroll in the Play for All Group Scholarship program, complete and submit the above application and provide documentation of eligibility. You will be notified of acceptance to the program by email after your application is reviewed. First-time participants must be preapproved for the program in order to receive the reduced admission rate. Program enrollment is valid for one year. Participants must re-apply each year. Community Organization Small Group Discount

Minnesota Children’s Museum’s Community Organization Small Group Scholarship Program is designed to reach small groups and nonprofit organizations that strive to reach underserved populations.

Eligibility Guidelines

  • Groups must visit with fewer than 20 children
  • Provide proof of nonprofit status or government agency
  • Description of constituency showing that at least 50% of the children and families are economically or otherwise disadvantaged

Program Details

  • Discounted admission rate of $4.50 per child
  • 1 adult admitted FREE with every 4 children
  • No reservations required – must have fewer than 20 children
  • Program designation valid at St. Paul location only
