Due to COVID-19, our volunteer and internship programs have been temporarily suspended.

For about a year now, two-year old Nchare and his parents – Dr. Nathan and Jenny Chomilo – have been members of Minnesota Children’s Museum. We were excited to hear from this family of medical professionals about their experience as museum members and what play means to them. We recently asked them some questions and we love their answers.
Erica Sunde and her nearly two-year-old daughter Sloane received a museum membership as a gift about a year ago. It’s been a gift that keeps on giving as it has provided this dynamic duo with unlimited fun for a whole year.
Our members are like family to us. We get to meet them and see them on a regular basis and watch their families and kids grow. It’s one of the best parts about working here. We occasionally get the chance to highlight some of our members and the unique personalities and talents they bring to our community. One member who all of our staff know is Taj or, as he’s affectionately known around here, “Ukulele Dad.”
Erica Villanueva and her family have been members of Minnesota Children’s Museum for at least three years. We recently asked Erica some questions about her family, their experiences at the museum and what play means to them. We loved her answers!
For two years running, Minnesota Children’s Museum has been a hot spot for Amber, Tyler and their two kids – a daughter (5) and son (2). They have two cats too, although the furbabies stay home when this central Minnesota family makes the trip to the museum.
