Congratulations to our Volunteers of the Year!

Jenny Deyoung

Adult Volunteer of the Year

Jenny is one of our most dedicated and longest-standing volunteers. She began volunteering at the Museum in 2006 and has completed over 1,300 hours of service.

Nouchee Xiong

Youth Volunteer of the Year

Nouchee has been a member of Play Team for two years completing over 800 hours of service.  She has been a Play Team Leader since 2014, and serves as a resource and role model for her peers.

Service Enterprise certification

Minnesota Children’s Museum is the first museum in the nation to receive the Service Enterprise certification. This means that we effectively engage volunteers across all levels of the organization while employing best practices in volunteer management.

Current Volunteers

Visit the Volunteer Information Center (VicNet) to log-in and check your schedule, view and post your volunteer service hours, receive messages from Volunteer Services, and much more. Youth volunteers are also able to self-schedule their shifts on VicNet. Adult volunteers may soon be able to do this – stay tuned!
