Celebrate Eid al Fitr at Minnesota Children’s Museum

Minnesota Children’s Museum welcomes all Muslim families to celebrate the first day of Eid at the Museum. For Minnesota Muslims, Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of the daily fast within the holy month of Ramadan. Following special Eid prayers, families gather to rejoice and celebrate.

WHAT:  Museum Eid Mubarak celebration with $5 admission (half-price) for everyone and other partnerships:

WHEN:  First day of Eid al-Fitr (likely July 6, 2016) during museum hours (St. Paul:  9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Mall of America™:  10 a.m. – 8 p.m.)

WHERE:  Minnesota Children’s Museum, 10 West Seventh Street, St. Paul and Mall of America™ Pop-Up Museum, 3rd floor of the north side of Mall of America®  near Sears 60 E. Broadway, Bloomington.

COST:  $5 per person

WHY:  The museum wishes to ensure all families feel welcome all the time. We want to share the powers of play with everyone to make our diverse and rich community happier, healthier and more innovative.

It is the most special time of the year for many kids from these families, and it is fantastic that the museum will be one of the places they come learn, and enjoy themselves! I want to thank the museum’s staff, and leadership for being part of Eid Celebrations!”
